SODOM - Germany's No. 1 thrash metal band celebrated their 25th band anniversary at the Wacken Open Air in 2007 and their 40th band anniversary at the Wildstyle & Tattoo Fair in 2022. In 2023 there was a rocking reunion at the Wildstyle & Tattoo Fair and in 2024 the Gelsenkirchen veterans will play on the Wildstyle Saturdays in Wr. Neustadt and Vienna and on the Wildstyle Sundays in Linz and Salzburg.

LORDI
LORDI – the world-famous hard rock band from Finland was founded in 1992 and was the first hard rock band in history to win the Eurovision Song Contest in 2006 with their song “Hard Rock Hallelujah”. Since their sensational success, LORDI have been rocking the whole world and will continue to do so on the Wildstyle Sundays in Wr. Neustadt, Innsbruck & Vienna 2024 after their HAMMER shows at Wildstyle in autumn 2023.

Jochen Auer (inventor & producer of the Wildstyle & Tattoo Messe) would have never thought that his idea and concept would make such an impact, reach millions of people and help to gain tolerance – and most of all make the world a more colorful place! A lot of people don't like this and the popularity of tattoos but the crazy idea from back in the days turned into reality and the WILDSTYLE is still on tour.
In the middle of the 90s the Wildstyle & Tattoo Messe was THE flash point of the tattoo hype that continues until today. An incredible 2 million (!!) visitors have seen the Wildstyle & Tattoo Messe live until today – which makes Wildstyle Europe's most successful tattoo show!!
How is that even possible – not only Jochen Auer asks himself that but many others too.

WILDSTYLE & TATTOO MESSE – the epitome for a European, if not worldwide unique idea comes back to Austria in 2024 after the huge success of the last years!!
Wildstyle merges different cultures and artists, tattoo artists and exhibitors from 4 continents and over 20 countries in an incredible way! For now 25 years the name "Wildstyle & Tattoo Messe" stands for "International Festival of Tolerance"!
Tattoos, piercing, extravagant fashion, biker wear, club wear, shoes, jewelry, accessories, lingerie, Metal & Rockabilly style, custom bikes & accessories, airbrush, tattoo models and a spectacular and also unique nonstop show program – performed by freaks, artists, acrobats and showgirls with unique stunts and attractions will fascinate the audience also in 2023!
In 1995 Jochen Auer (creator and producer of Wildstyle) wrote what was probably one of the craziest show concepts of that time and was able to get 2 million visitors. The revolutionary concept and the long tours through Europe helped changing history and the acceptance of tattoos and piercings and made both trends more accessible to a broader public.
However, tattoos and piercings and the "wild" lifestyle still polarize, the reason why Jochen Auer and his team still organize the "Wildstyle & Tattoo Messe" in its 29th year.
Having tattoos means much more than wearing colorful pictures on your skin, it has become way more than a trend and no part of society or occupational group can get away from it.
